I love the OA papers!

Went for the Living Colours Workshop today! I learnt a lot even though it was a really stressful 3 hours. It was like non stop scrap and go that after awhile, i blanked out and my hands were cramping! But still nonetheless, i enjoyed myself a lot and i am loving the bright colours in my LO! Will post them up once i am done with all 4 layouts. (: I just need to touch up some parts.
Have a good week ahead.

a home for the thickers
I love thickers, dont you? thickers are highly essential in every LO and i simply love collecting them. I dont have a lot for now but i do think i have enough to last me for awhile. I have been wanting to buy a pole stand that i can drill into a wall so that i can hang my thickers ( just like hanging your clothes on the pole). But i realised my scrap area has no wall and secondly, mum hates that i am going to drill something.
So i was thinking yesterday on what could i do for an alternative. Headed down to ikea with my sis and we went in search of poles. We managed to find those that requires you to drill and Jie bought one since she is going to drill into the wall no matter what. LOL. i found a cheap alternative!!! I bought a clothes rack and since my table is tall, it will fit nicely.
Here it is. We bought pecks too. Awwww. I LOVE IT! (:
the best thing about it is that the bottom part of the rack does not stick out from the table but fits into the table! it is hard to explain but it just means that it will no obstruct my way at all.
I am one happy girl now.

Best (4) friends
The latest LO done last week. I realised that i hardly scrap on the Key family because we hardly take pictures in the first case. But i decided to develop some old pictures of us so that i can scrap about our friendship whenever possible. The picture was taken on my bday this year.
I used mostly webster papers as well as the sparrow paper that i have been wanting to scrap about since i bought it last year. i finally got around to using them. Woohoo.
Went down to MWL yesterday to restock on cardstocks and the new OA papers. I hope i can find time during this long weekend to scrap one more LO. Assignments are piling up and i am in the midst of clearing them so that i can have some personal time to scrap.

forever in our hearts
I managed to sit down this week to scrap another layout. This was done in between rushing out my assignments and just spending the rest time scrapping it. I love it when i use up pattern papers that i've bought eons ago. It makes me feel that i did not buy them just for hoarding but i am actually using them. (of course, that gives me more reason to buy more)
Close ups :
Most importantly, this was a picture taken way back and it was just left lying there. I love this picture a lot. this is one of those few times where the whole group gets together and takes a picture.
Journaling reads : Only left is a special place for how much you guys mean to me. Our friendship is an unique one, one that others will never understand but only within ourselves do we know how much we mean to each other. To forever!

Yesterday was NSD. The family spent a great deal at MWL trying to win some prizes and get some great discounts. I am really glad that Jie and Lyn are into this. It keeps us close with endless scrapbooking topics to talk about. Mum spent a great deal taking care of Kate outside MWL. Kor was helpful enough to play the challenging games so that we can win great prizes.
It was a tiring yet fufilling day. :D
